More and more travellers are looking at vacation rentals as their choice for accommodations. The expectations of a bigger space, with less hotel concierge are the few items that are not on the list of things to look for when travelling. during the holidays, there has been an increase of 45% of families that are looking for vacation rentals as their accommodation of choice, and it’s no wonder that more and more vacation rental companies, are offering those services to travellers. Whether its a condo, cabin, mansion or tiny home, the demand for vacation properties are on the rise.

The Gen Z travellers, are spending more time in the city than rural areas while away from home, and are more incline to travel with their friends or solo, than with family. As the travel trends continue to change direction, it is interesting to see that the other older travellers are having multi-generational vacation trips and choosing to stay in a vacation rental, as it is much cheaper per person.

Some of the top destinations have seen an increase of at least 130% over 12 months with locations such as Arkansas, Paris France, Florence Italy, and Maui Hawaii to name a few.
