AMResort announced their partnership with Hesperia Hotels & Resorts, one of the leading hotel groups in Spain, the debut of the second Secrets® Resorts & Spas branded property in Europe with Secrets Lanzarote Resort & Spa. The resort opened on December 9, and is located close to Lanzarote airport and alongside the beautiful marina of Puerto Calero. The property is owned and managed by Hesperia Hotels & Resorts.

“Secrets Lanzarote Resort & Spa underwent an extensive renovation spanning all areas of the hotel, including the 335 guest rooms, several of which were converted into swim-up suites offering private terraces and direct access to a private pool. In addition, 125 of the rooms have been designated as part of the Secrets Preferred Club, an elevated experience that includes luxury amenities and offerings such as access to the Preferred Club Lounge, private pool and solarium, daily continental breakfast served in a private restaurant, upgraded bathroom amenities and exclusive concierge services.”

The adult only property’s design is inspired by the Canarian culture, featuring nods to iconic local figures such as the multidisciplinary artist César Manrique and a mural by the painter Rufina Santana, entitled Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, 1960, which references the islands’ mythology.

AMResort’s property in Cancun has experienced some delays in construction. Dreams® Vista Cancun Resort & Spa will open on February 22, 2020 the new grand opening date.

To reaffirm their commitment to their valued future guests, they will be protecting any bookings affected by this change.

With this in mind, below is the protection options to be executed via the channel originally booked:

Guests with existing reservations will be assigned and protected at the following resorts based on availability:
- Breathless® Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa (Adults Only)
- Dreams® Sands Cancun Resort & Spa
- Now® Jade Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa
- Now® Emerald Cancun Resort & Spa
- Reflect® Cancun Resort & Spa
If the offered resorts listed above are unable to host affected guests, another AMResorts® branded property in the destination will be used.
Guests will also receive a complimentary return stay certificate to Dreams Vista Cancun Resort & Spa for an equal number of nights as the original reservation. Travel must be completed within one year of original departure date.

In the year ahead, AMResorts will be opening four new resorts in the first quarter of 2020. Two of them will be in the Cancun area, one is planned for St. Marin and one will be on the island of the Dominican Republic. Travelers who spend their vacations at these properties will be excited to have four new options to choose from.

Now Natura Riviera Cancun

The 533-room Now Natura Riviera Cancun will offer guests a unique all-inclusive experience. Conveniently located only 10 miles from the Cancun International Airport, visitors to this property will be treated to a modern design and access to a lazy river, water park and exotic fish ponds.

Dreams Vista Cancun

Come February 1, 2020 this contemporary family resort will be located in the gated community of Puerta del Mar offering visitors views of both the Caribbean Sea and Isla Mujeres. In addition to an exclusive rooftop pool, guests of this resort can enjoy two surf pools, a stunning architectural design and endless entertainment day and night.

Secrets St. Martin

Another resort also opening on February 1, 2020, but on the vibrant island of St. Martin is Secrets St. Martin Resort & Spa. This property incorporates both Caribbean and European inspiration. Located only 35 minutes from the Princess Juliana International Airport, this adults-only property is both convenient to get to and also secluded enough for a romantic hideaway for couples.

Dreams Macao Beach

Ino the Dominican Republic, Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana will make its debut on February 21, 2020. A resort for both couples and families, this property will feature 500 luxurious suites and spacious villas. With a spa, water park, lazy river and pools on property, guests of all ages will find something to enjoy during their stay in paradise.
