Eagle Beach - Aruba
This beach is famous for its many low-rise resorts and wide public beach. It has soft white sand and has been rated one of the best beaches in the world with it’s warm, crystal blue waters. Despite it’s popularity, it doesn’t appear to be overcrowded as there is a lot of walking space due to the width and length of this beach.
3. Mero Beach - Dominica
Dominica, known as “The Nature Island” has 365 rivers. Mero Beach is surreal which joins beautiful black (Volcanic) sandy beach of silvery-grey and warm, calm waters with preserved nature. It is also known to be clean and have great restaurants and bars.
4. Tobago Cays – St. Vincent and the Grenadines
Tobago Cays is made up of five tiny, uninhabited islands in southern Grenadines. You can visit the Tobago Cays Marine Park to see wildlife and learn more about biodiversity. The cays - Petit Rameau, Petit Bateau, Baradal, Petit Tabac and Jamesby are beautiful white-sand beaches and they’re all perfect for swimming.
5. Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands
Virgin Gorda, 1 of the largest islands, is a popular tourist spot with posh resorts, pristine beaches and great sailing. It’s famous for the Baths, a labyrinth of beachside irregular boulders forming a series of pools and seawater-flooded grottoes and the unique national park on the southwest coast with sandy white beaches.
6. Horseshoe Bay, Bermuda
Received it’s name because it is shaped as a horseshoe. It is Bermuda's famous pink-sand beach and is considered one of the loveliest seaside retreats in the world. It has 21 mile wide stretches of pastel pink sand which is the result of crushed shells, coral and calcium carbonate. The pink-tinted sand and clear waters are bordered by limestone cliffs. The waters are shallow and family-friendly and during the first week of August, the beach becomes the host of BeachFest — a huge party with music, food, drinks, and games.
7. Shoal Bay – Anguilla
Once a secret hideaway, Anguilla has become a Caribbean hot spot for Hollywood starlets and honeymooners alike. There are 33 beaches on this 16-mile stretch of island, which are all open to the public. Shoal Bay is among the most popular on Anguilla with 2 miles of pearly-white sand on the Atlantic side and has shallow blue waters, which is perfect for families.
8. Zeelandia Beach – St. Eustatius
This beach is great for travelers who enjoy relaxing, hiking, sitting and listening to the waves, and/or walking along the shore. Due to the strong riptides and the current going in different directions, it is not safe to swim and is actually prohibited. It is a great place to look for turtles.
9. Half Moon Bay – Turks and Caicos Islands
The beach is broad stretching more than four miles which features trails for hikers and horseback riders. The water glistens along the sand that resembles sugar. The roaming iguanas allows for this unspoiled island to capture what it looked like prior to tourism. The beach is located between Little Water Cay and Water Cay, two uninhabited islands of Turks and Caicos. To get here is via boat and there are quite a few excursions that find their way here
10. Playa Porto Mari – Curaçao
This beach is located near the village of Sint Willibrordus, on the private estate of Plantages PortoMari bay. Its white coral sand beach with clear and calm water is a true paradise for water lovers. The unique ‘double reef’ is easily accessible and is the starting point and provides a fascinating snorkel and dive site. For landlubbers, three nature trails (the Seru Matteo Trail, the History Trail and the Bird Trail) have their starting point at the beach’s parking lot. They are ideal for hiking but can also be conquered by mountain bike.
